Evie Delaney's love of art
& beauty began early in her life with formal art training
and a "Who's Who", New Artist Scholarship,
awarded her freshman year in college. After leaving college,
Evie chose to pursue her interest in the arts by exploring
business opportunities in the cosmetics and
beauty industry. In 1978, she completed training as a clinical
Aesthetician & professional make up artist, under Judith
Sans International. Her affinity for color and cosmetics
led her to pursue additional freelance apprenticeships in
stage and theater make up and cosmetic fashion makeovers.
Within two years, she was studying and working independently
in New York, Miami and Atlanta as a freelance platform make up
artist. As an educator and artist, her model makeover work
has been featured in beauty industry trade magazines, beauty
conferences, newspapers and on television.
Ultimately, the love of the beauty industry brought her
full circle, and she found an ideal way to blend her background
experiences in cosmetics, art and business into a rewarding
new career in the revolutionary field of Permanent make
up & Paramedical Aesthetics. Entering her eigth year
of business, Evie has currently completed well over 8000
cosmetic tattooing procedures. Her specialties include
Lip, Brow & Eye Enhancement Procedures, Corrective Tattooing,
Scar Camouflage & Scar Reduction Therapies, Areola re-pigmentation,
Wrinkle Therapies & Tattoo Removal.
Evie opened The Nouveau Clinic
- Permanent Cosmetics and Aesthetics Artistry in January of
2000. Today she is affiliated with some of Atlanta's most
renowned plastic surgeons, laser specialists, and medi-clinical
salons and spas. She currently holds advanced certifications
in permanent cosmetics; paramedical tattooing and multi-trepannic
treatments for the reduction of burn contractures, scars and
facial wrinkles. Evie is also an active member in the Society
of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals, an Associate of the American
Academy of Micropigmentation, and has completed an intern
program with the prestigious DERMA STAR International Academy
for reconstructive pigmentation. Treatment expertise includes
a wide variety of patient support services and therapies that
address the extensive psychological, physical and social ramifications
associated with surviving; and then ultimately "thriving"
after burn injuries; cancer; blindness; congenital defects;
post surgical scars or physical & psychological debilitation
caused by disease or accidental disfigurement. It is Evie's
vision that The Nouveau Clinic will offer these highly specialized,
but greatly needed paramedical services through a network
of existing cosmetic and medical partners and facilities throughout
Georgia.
